Manual transfer case shifter extension
- Vehicles equipped with a 2-piece rear drive shaft (carrier bearing), require
BDS122406 Carrier bearing drop.
- This kit requires the use of an aftermarket front
driveshaft (not provided) in addition to the (provided) indexing ring kit –
BDS122624 (6-bolt) or BDS122421 (8-bolt). Both must be installed, however due
to variations between truck configurations we recommend installing the kit
prior to taking measurements for the aftermarket front driveshaft to ensure
correct length. Vehicle can be driven without front driveshaft. Kit was tested
with a Drive Line Plus flange and driveshaft, however other high angle
driveshaft options can be used.

Up the ante of your RAM 3500 diesel truck to the next level with this 8-inch 4-Link lift kit from BDS. Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, this kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 40" tires.
Up front the lift kit includes diesel-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, 4-Link control arm conversion, forged drop pitman arm and track bar bracket for steering correction, sway bar relocation, brake line brackets, and custom-tuned nitrogen charged shocks.
At this height, the transfer case needs to be indexed to allow use of the factory front driveshaft so an indexing ring and new transmission crossmember are supplied. In the rear this kit utilizes heavy duty steel lift blocks along with add-a-leaf springs, u-bolts and a matching set of NX2 Nitro or FOX Performance shocks.
4-Link Conversion
Convert the factory stamped steel radius arms over to the BDS 4-link to optimize suspension geometry for better handling characteristics while adding strength and stability. This bolt-on upgrade utilizes high-strength 1/4-inch steel brackets that allow mounting of HD upper and lower control arms to correct axle positioning while limiting caster change throughout wheel travel.
Pro-Ride Coil Springs
A pair of full-length, diesel-specific, Pro-Ride coil springs are supplied to provide the correct lift height and smooth, predictable ride across various terrains.
T-Case Indexing
At this height, driveline adjustments are necessary to allow the use of the factory driveshafts so a precision-built transfer-case indexing ring featuring ARP-studs can clock the transfer case and improve the front driveline operating angle. Additionally, a high clearance transmission crossmember supplied to allow sufficient clearance.

6 Bolt Indexing Ring
- Kits come standard with 6-Bolt indexing ring kit.
8 Bolt Indexing Ring
- Ram has an optional Aisin heavy-duty 6 speed transmission available in the 3500 trucks that utilize a different transfer case mounting bolt pattern (8-bolt).
- The 8-bolt kit also includes an internal shaft seal extension and new shaft seal.
